Based on the bonding technology we have developed over approximately 50 years, we are promoting consultancy mainly in technology fields such as semiconductor packaging technology and packaging technology for high-brightness LEDs.
In addition, in hopes of converging the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its mutants, which are posing a threat all over the world, as soon as possible, we are conducting daily research and presentations by using 405 nm near-ultraviolet LEDs to converge this coronavirus pandemic.
Furthermore, we are promoting senior businesses to solve the problem of the aging population, which is rapidly increasing worldwide in the future.

Introduction
405nm near-ultraviolet LED is considered to be effective in sterilizing the novel coronavirus and its mutants.

Among deep-ultraviolet UV LEDs, 265~280nm UVC has a strong bactericidal effect. However, since it causes very bad effects on human skin and eyes, it can be used only in limited cases of sterilization when there is no one such as in the operating room of a hospital.
On the other hand, the wavelength of 405nm near-ultraviolet LED is close to that of sunlight, and while it is gentle on the human body, it has a sterilizing effect on the novel coronavirus. By installing this 405nm near-ultraviolet LED in a place where there are people, we were able to improve the sterilization effect and obtain good results.

Based on this result, we believe that it can be used for indoor and outdoor lighting and greatly contribute to the sterilization of the novel coronavirus.
Based on these results, it is thought that 405nm near-ultraviolet LEDs can be installed in endoscope cameras and catheters to remove the novel coronavirus that has entered the body.

LEDs have many advantages.

Power consumption can be reduced by approximately 80% compared to incandescent and fluorescent lamps.
They have a relatively high conversion rate of electrical energy to light and have a long life.
Therefore, they can make a big contribution to carbon neutrality.
